Deeds, wills, and other papers of the Bond family of Watertown, Massachusetts. Included are deeds to William Bond (1624-95), Jonas Bond (1664-1727), and Jonas Bond (1691-1768); wills of Henry Bond (ca.1694-ca.1746), Henry Bond (1762-96), and William Brown of Waltham; and an inventory of the estate of Jonas Bond (1691-1768). Also included is a copy of part of a letter to Lucy Brown Bond conveying news of the death of her husband, Colonel William Bond, at Ticonderoga, New York, in 1776.

Am. Revolutionary army officer and colonel in the 25th Regiment of Foot from Mass. Bond led the regiment from July 1775 to August 1776, when he died from illness at a camp near Fort Ticonderoga, N.Y.
